Also known as sea lettuce, because of its slender, flat shape.
It is known for its content of bioactive compounds Vitamin A, C, E and aosain used in cosmetics as it inhibits the action of elastase protecting collagen and elastane.
Other uses include a nutrient supplement or biostimulant / bio fertilizer to increase plant growth and yield.
